Husband, wife, 1 child: We need a very cheap stay!

We travel often to visit family in Australia so our funds are very low but we would like to make a short stop in Fiji this summer. Does anyone have suggestions on places they have stayed on the cheap? We want to snorkel and enjoy the beach, anything else is a bonus.

Please comment on cheap places to stay, cheap food, and transfers. Thanks for your help!

It's a way from the airport but should be cheap enough with the standard buses - Beach House

Hi, I'm not sure how much will be there, but you might try www.craigslist.org then look for your location, then temporary housing. You never know...someone there might be looking to go somewhere else for a few days. Good luck!
