Indonesia Trip Advise

Hi, All!

I'm a professional writer and photographer headed on assignment to Indonesia. The stops on my itinerary are mandated largely by the story, but the order is not set in stone. I'm looking for any thoughts or insight about my potential itinerary, as well as anything I MUST see at or near any of these locations. Any other tips or thoughts would be greatly appreciate. Here is my draft itinerary:

LAX->Denpasar

Northeast Bali for a few days
Bali->Luwuk, Sulawesi (fly or boat? direct or via Makassar)

Luwuk->Banggai Islands->Luwuk

Luwuk->Manado

Manado->Bitung Tengah->Manado

Manado->Palu (bus?)

Palu->Kendari

Kendari->Labuanbajo

Labuanbajo->Komodo->Labuanbajo

Labuanbajo->Lombok

Lombok->Denpasar

Denpasar->LAX

I may have to go to Jakarta as well, and I'm trying to figure out where that might fit in.

Im just back from Denpasar/Bali, and intruiged that you have allowed for no time at all in the touristy areas of Kuta/Legian/Seminyak or Sanur/Nusa Dua nor even in Ubud

As I said, this is a work trip, so my individual stops are pretty well dictated for me.
