Islandhopping...Pacifiic Islands

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

Planning an rtw tour starting in a year...5-6 months.....this is my brainstorm itinerary...without having checked options for cheap stop-overs enroute.....
French Polynesia-Cook Islands- Samoa-Tonga-Fiji -( NZ) - Tasmania- Indonesia - Malaysia-(Sri Lanka).......about two weeks at each destination....
Open to all suggestions for ideas to get as much as possible out of time and money...
I go for nature, snorkling, kayaking, biking, hiking...and where budget accomodation is possible....but not very interested in food and nightlife....and not heading for places very lots of rain can be expected....
Yes, I know this is not cheap, but possible even with a budget to consider....

have a look at airtahitinui, air fiji air & new zealand for connectivity around the pacific islands

South Pacific Island are very beautiful and you wont be disappointed. virgin australia also flies to the south pacific islands.
Depending on when you plan to go. If you travel between late July - October i suggest you stop in Tonga for an amazing whale swim/watch/ snorkeling/ reef swimming/ island hopping/ island tour and a feel of our culture.

check out rates for whale watch/swim/snorkeling http://tunamoana.simplesite.com/438181755

Would be more than happy to assist with packages suited for you while in Tonga, as this our very own family business.
