Hello Everyone

I am a cabinet maker from Switzerland and i am 27 years old... my girlfriend just broke up with me and i am not in a really good shape.
Now i am kind of free do do what i always wanted to do... and thats working with wood in the direction of art and furniture design.
So iam adressing everyone in the pacific region :)... has someone any connections to job opportunities in the wood business, or needs a helping hand all i ask for is a little payment if its possible... otherwise i couldnt even afford going overseas.

But its a dream and now that nothing holds me hear in the cold icy weather i am free to go, to do what i always wanted to.

Please help iam kind of desperate

Thx alot Lukas

I don't think there would be much opportunity for wood design work for non-indigenous people in the Pacific Islands, unless they were people who had loads of money to contribute to developing the talents of the local people. The Pacific Islands countries are mostly low socio-economic developing countries, with high unemployment, even for gifted locals.
There might be opportunities in Australia or New Zealand, but that would be better posted on the other Pacific branch.

It is not easy as there are many woodworkers in the islands who work for very very low wages, although there are new hotels who might be interested in real quality work. I would suggest that you search out new hotels going up and contact them.

Sounds like this is a hard time for you- good luck with following your dreams.
