Kokopo, New Britain, PNG

I am going to be there for six weeks from April 1 to May 15 for work. Anybody ever been there? What is the town like? Internet cafes? Good restaurants? Attractions in the surrounding area? Any information would be great.

Kokopo itself is kind of dull.
There was one internet cafe when I was there.
For restaurants, the hotels might be your best bet, but PNG in general is not a place to go to eat out.
