Lodging at Kegesugl Guest House- Foothill Mt Whilem 4509m

All this time, I never knew that there existed a Lodging built and erected at the foothill of Mt Whilem, Kegesugl-Papua New Guinea.
Over these years, Bettys Lodge was mass promoted. Next time you go to climb Mt Whilem you will see Kegesugl Guest House there, run by Mr. Umba Rambo and wife, I stayed there with them 2010, November.
The lodge is cheap and it backpackers lodging type with good meals and fresh organic strawberries supplied.

This place was indeed long-ignored by LP, but has now been in the latest edition of their guide for a few years, I think.

I too can vouch for it, great place to stay. Very friendly, clean, safe and much much cheaper than Betty's!!
