looking for a budget monthly rental in Palau

We are two active women in our 60s and 70s who are coming to Palau to snorkel. We want to rent a budget apartment, condo or bungalow with a kitchenette for one month, approximately 15 April 2008 through 15 May 2008. We each would like to have our own sleeping room. Two singles would do if one has kitchen facilities and one of the sleeping rooms has air-conditioning. Or we could use a place in which one person sleeps in the area with the kitchenette and the other person sleeps in a separate sleeping room. We prefer to stay in a place centrally located.

Have you checked the Palau Visitors Authority? There used to be apartments available for rent off near the Catholic Church at topside. I would check out PVA and even email them to see it they know of anything. Good luck- and lucky you.
