looking for a cheap fale on a beautiful beach

I am going to Samoa for a week in May on a tight budget. My main goal of the trip is to relax on a beautiful beach, meet other backpackers, and experience Samoan culture. I have been looking into Falealupo beach fales, Taufua Beach fales, and virgin cove beach fales. Anybody have any suggestions? I would like to stay on the prettiest beach without going bankrupt (this is the first stop on a long journey.) I think the quality of the beach is more important than the quality of the fale to me. Oh, I am also a single female traveling alone, so safety is key.

I spent a week on my own as a solo female in Samoa last year and stayed at Tanu Beach Fales on Manase beach on Savaii, I hear that Manase beach is the most beautiful in Samoa, and I would probably agree, although I haven't seen the beaches on Upolo. If you want to stay on Upolo then I would recommend Taufua Beach fales on Lolomanu beach (sp?) I've heard nothing but good things about it! One thing I must add is that when I was there, there wasn't many backpackers, it was many kiwi and aussie couples and holiday makers. Nonetheless it was a great break and very relaxing, I spent a day in Apia too which was very fun, Samoans are such friendly people. However it would be wise to try not to give any men the wrong intentions, I had a few guys at the fales proposition me, and two girls had some creep into their fales at night, but that was because they kind of led them on, which isn't hard, I think they spent a bit too much time dancing with them and the late night swim that they had with them also didn't help, although the guys were told that the girls were taken this didn't deter them! I would suggest wearing a ring on your ring finger and saying that youre married to anyone that asks, because they will! but don't let this deter you, Samoa is a safe place you just have to take he same precautions that you would anywhere else. I would definatly recommend it if you want to relax on a beach!
