Looking for homestay in Yap and Palau

Hello,

My husband and I are spending one week in Yap and two weeks in Palau this June. We would love to arrange for a homestay in both places. Any recommendations? I know that Pathways has one $50 a night hut, but we'd prefer to stay with a family if possible. I'm going to try e-mailing the Yap Visitors Bureau, but I figured I would check here as well. I do not require air conditioning or hot water--something simple would do.

I have read through posts for the past few years, but if anyone has recently traveled to Yap and would share information about things to do or places to eat I'd appreciate it. I have three guide books, all of which are extremely out of date. We are going to get PADI diving certification before we travel, but we also need to stick to some kind of a budget for the three-week trip.
