Maupiti Express French Polynesia

Does anyone know if the Maupiti Express is currently running in French Polynesia? And/or will be during October/November 2012? Otherwise, whether there is another boat option between Maupiti-Bora Bora or Raieta-Bora Bora? Thanks

If you haven't already done so check out the forum at www.tahiti-explorer.com - a lot of the posters there should have up to date information on transportation in the islands - some of them are locals living there. But even with that, we found the ferry situation was very iffy - we ended up flying except for getting to Moorea. Also the forum at tripadvisor is fairly active, so might be another source of information for you.
