Motorcycle (scooter) hire in Samoa

I will be in Samoa for five days starting next Thursday (20 Jan). Is it possible to hire a scooter in Apia? I see many car hire companies, but nothing about motorcycle/scooters?

All feedback is appreciated. Alternatively, I might be inclined to share a car rental if someone thought the same.

I live in Apia and I do not know any scooter rentals ... Which is understandable because where would you want to go with a scooter except around in town? Any beach is too far to get to with a scooter and the mountains are too high to cross with a scooter. In town you are better off by taxi, bus or just walking.
Overland distances are a lot bigger in Samoa than in other popular places, especially Rarotonga ...)

As I've said elsewhere in the forum - in 1965 I rode my scooter from Apia to Mulifanua and took it on the ferry to Savai'i. I then rode from Salelologa to Avao, stayed two days, then back to Apia. The roads were much better when I visited on 1979 and even better in 2009. I'm sure there's an opening there for someone to rent scooters!

Police is using scooters in Apia but still you don't see any of them elsewhere. At least once a year somebody opens a scooter rental and closes down after a few weeks. No customers. It doesn't work here.
