Indeed......I love Polynesian music. Ancient or "Pop"

the latter,,, kinda......... I must say I'm a traditionalist though. Spoiled by 10 years in Indonesia - but just love all my Polynesian recordings. We'll be back this summer in Indo but my inquiry is for the future. I'm not concerned with rainy or dry seaons --- and a "Pension" or something perhaps similiar is all we ask for to stay. If anyone has any recommendations about a part of FP or Samoa or Fiji or somewhere else ---- I'd love to hear.....thanks, chris

My island in the Solomons has a resident local (Melanesian) band called the Lau Pirates. However, it doesn't have mod cons.
