Nadi or Suva - Which airport is closer to the goodies?

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

hello there, which airport do you recommend if travelling to fiji only for a weekend? Nadi or Suva?
thanx kid

To the best of my knowledge, few (if any) international flights land in Suva. Nadi is the main hub for Fiji and other areas of the South Pacific. Perhaps others have advice on what to do for a weekend near Nadi?

The only int'l flight to Suva used to be to Tonga. I'm assuming the OP wil thus fly into Nadi, as angela suggested.

For just a few days I'd just get a package at one of the islands in the Mamanucas, or maybe the Yasawas if it were four or five days available.

There used to be a flight from Auckland to Suva, but I've heard it has stopped.

Yes, I agree with 1. Travelling to Nadi would be your best option.

How do you get to and from airport in Suva to Novotel, and how much?
