Naigboi guest house on yuo island

Hi all
We did a trip from wewak to yuo island last weekend and i had to give it a plug! If you're visiting east sepik it's worth a detour for a few days. Very relaxing. Robert will pick you up from wewak in an open boat for the hour trip out. You get to see wom beach and several islands on the way. Yuo has a small guest house right on the beach. I think there were about 8 rooms plus 2 bungalows. Very basic.. mattresses with mosquito nets + drop toilet and a bucket shower, but very neat and clean. Beautiful little island. Tropical vegetation, beautiful beaches and clear water. Robert and Catherine and their lovely family will show you around, and cook some delicious meals. The guest house has hammocks and snorkelling right out the front. We also walked around the island a couple of times. I think there's about 100 residents all up. You can also visit surrounding islands if you like. The number in the lonely planet guide is wrong - the correct number is +67572761483
