Nanuyu Island backpackers

I am looking for accommodation for two young people on Nanuyu Island - but not Nanuyu Island resort as it is booked out for the wedding we are attending. There seem to be several backpackers on the island - which one is best and are they accessible at night from Nanuyu Island resort. Alternatively they could stay at Coral View resort apparently there would be transport back to there. What is that like and is it easily accessible on a daily basis to Nanuyu.

From memory, it is a fair walk around the beach and rocks from the backpackers to Nanuya Island Resort, but it could be done.
Not one that I would recommend at night either.
A boat trip would be pleasant, by comparison.
