Niue is so off the radar...

That I can't even add it to my Google maps in TripAdviser for Facebook... It says "your location not found".

So I guess this means this a great place to get lost almost completely if you're one of those people who wants to "get away from it all..."

I can vouch that it's a great little island....

I did not even find one of Samoa which is a lot bigger. But try the satellite view - there are very nice images there, even though they are a bit outdated (2005 or 2006). I found my own house in Samoa and even some remote places in Savaii on the images.
That works for Niue as well and when the search for Niue does not succeed try Alofi. That works.

Niue is certainly not off my radar.
In some ways that would be great as there would be less tourists to deal with next time I'm there (but at the same time that would be bad for their ecnomy).

Too many tourists on Niue? There were about 10, including me, the last time I was there. Their economy can sure use a few more.
