NYE in Fiji (Nadi)

I will be in Fiji the NYE, after a few days island hoping will be back in Nadi on the 31st of December.

Not quite sure what to expect there to be going and would like to know if anyone has any recommendations.

Any help would be great.

I've only been to Fiji once when in 2005 so I can't compare different places in Fiji, however I island-hopped through the Yasawa and Mamanuca Islands (with Awesome Adventures). Me and my friend had a fantastic time, we did lots of activities and met a lot of other travellers. We stayed at Nadi Bay Resort Hotel in Nadi for one night before we flew home. We found it to be really good. We stayed in a dorm room (altho we wanted a twin share, which were full as we only booked one day in advance). The dorm was good except a lot of travellers have 5.00am flights so our sleep was disturbed early early in the morning. That would probably be the case in most dorm rooms in Nadi. However, the place was clean and reasonably priced. There are lots of rooms, a couple of places to eat, two pools and it's pretty close to the airport. Have a great trip!
