| lunchtime_nookie07:18 UTC05 Jun 2007 | Well, my wife and I have just come back from one of the most relaxing, enjoyable and satisfying trips ever. We went for one week to Fiji, more specifically to Waya Island where Octopus Resort is. If anyone is thinking of heading to Fiji and is after an amazing beach, the clearest blue waters, amazing snorkelling, unbelievable food, stunning views, great people, awesome atmosphere.... then head here.
We had heard lots about it, all good, so when we got there and found that it certainly lived up to all the hype it was great.
I could write forever about it, but in short, here are some highlights...
The lunch menu is pretty damn impressive. A choice of at least 12 or so meals. All of the them fantastic.
Dinner - unbelievable. The biggest dishes ever. They try to accomodate all tastes, so every night is somethign different. If you are there for the Fish Feast - you are in for a great night!
Quiz Night!!! What a great night! We came 2nd and missed out on the 1st prize of a Sunrise Champagne Breakfast on the beach by 5 points...
International Crab Racing! Ha! Catch that crab and watch it go...!
Village tours, local rugby matches, tour of the school. All good and you get to meet the locals and drink copious amounts of kava...
Finally... the beach. What more can you say.

There is absolutely nothing negative that I could say about it. Interesting, genuinely lovely characters, great food, amazing accommodation, an array of activities...take me back now!!
