| lockythenomad22:06 UTC27 May 2007 | hi,
i have been scouring the forum for info on working in the pacific islands. From what i gather it is extremelly difficult to get working visa's in most countries. i am an australian male, 21 years of age and am an experienced hotel/bar manager.
i am just wondering if anyone knows of anywere that i WILL OR MIGHT be able to find work with or without a visa. i have an australian and a british passport if that makes a differance.
i am hoping to leave in november for an undefined amount of time, im not going to make a fortune, im going for the experience.
any advice would be much appreciated, cheers

Most Pacific countries need to find jobs for their own people - and hospitality is a good area for locals. Local salaries are also much lower than Australian ones. If you really want to work in the Pacific, get a qualification they need, like scinece, maths or English teaching, or medicine.
