Pacific Island temperatures in July

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

We are planning a trip to a pacific island next July and would like to go to a different island than Fiji (where we have been 4 times).
Either Vanuatu, Samoa or Rarotonga. I'm sure I have read on this thread that Raro can be a bit cool in July. Is this correct? Which of these 3 islands would be the warmest. I just want to go somewhere WARM!

On RAR in July and August it is cool at night----men can wear long pants comfortably, unlike in Jan/Feb when it is too hot----but during the day it is usually very warm. Everyone goes swimming in the lagoon in July and August, except maybe 10% of visitors. Not sure about Samoa and Vanuatu, but whichever is farthest north will usually be a little warmer.

Hi, you said you have been to Fiji 4 times. Did you try Taveuni? Great spot and WARM too. Unlike the rest of Fiji - lots of culture and nature tours. Friendly and genuine locals. give it a go this time or next time.
