| amylovestravelling17:44 UTC20 Jul 2007 | Hello there
I am currently in China and will be in New Zealand in about 3 weeks (where i have a one year working holiday visa), me and my boyfreind are hoping to slip off to a two week holiday in one of the Pacific Islands before we settle and work in NZ
We havent booked our flight yet - can anyone please reccomend cheap airlines for any of the islands (except virgin blue or air new zealand which ive checked out already)??
Failing that has any one ever turned up at an airport and asked 'im looking for a flight leaving today, what can you provide??' Is it worth doing that in anyones experience???
We are not too fussed over which island to go to - we are looking for a relaxing holiday while learning about some of the countries culture too...
Any kind of advice would be greatly appreciated
many Thanks, Amy

I would recommend polynesian (http://www.polynesianairlines.com/ - under construction today..), you might find some cheap tickets there. For cheap holiday, but with culture and relaxation I would highly recommend Samoa. Rent a cheap fale (bungalow) on one of the beaches. Good luck with your trip !
