Great report! And what a great trip! Shame about the weather. (I went in June which was supposed to be rainy season and had mostly nice days.)

What's amazing is that that information is not available in the guidebooks.

That couple on the 20 day expedition - were they using their own kayaks or were they outfitted by Sam's?

I miss it to. ESA- how are the folks there doing? Relatives of my son.

Great read, Jirikoo! Finding your way around Babeldaob was indeed a challenge - we never did find Ngatpang Waterfalls.

Wow! I've been looking for a trip report like this, thank you for posting!

Thanks a lot, Jiri - great information. I think with recent posts of Palau, Micronesia and Marshall islands, there is enough material for LP guidebook, without having to even go there.

I experienced the tsunami-warning - so we have been on Palau at the same time - it was too exciting, I think - but luckily nothing happend on Palau - link to blog from tsunami-day
