I think you cut yourself off uliel101, but I will try and answer your questions in the subject line. I am currently on Atiu, staying with Roger Malcomb at Atiu Villas, where I am currently looking down at his new pool and thinking I should be headed over there. There are limited places to stay on Atiu, besides the Villas, there is Kia Orana Bungalows, Are Manuiera Guesthouse, Taparera Lodge and one other lodging. All of these are what I would refer to as moderate priced lodgings. There are no true budget lodging on Atiu, but Taparera Lodge will be converting one unit into a backpackers lodging this summer. 1. Which side of Aitutaki is better to stay in? East West?
