Hi - does anybody have an email contact for a cheap hostel / B&B / Hotel in Papeete? We're arriving in at midnight on the 27th of Nov and need 2 nights, I know it's expensive but just wondered if anybody had any contacts. I've tried googling a lot of the cheaper hotels but can't find any email addresses, and the booking engines are really expensive. Don't want to spend a fortune due to the fact we will only be there for a few hours, well at least on the first night anyway. Thanks heaps :)

We just walked across the road to the Tahiti Airport Motel and it was ok for one nights stay. We arrived just after midnight and I was concerned that we were arriving after the previous days check in time but we had booked and it worked out fine. | 2
Try running a search for Chez Fifi - it's located about 5 minutes from the airport. It's only a small place so availability might be a problem at this late date. Good luck! | 3
We recently stayed for two nights at Pension Te Miti. It's a little bit out of the way but it was the cheapest place we could find. The dorm rooms are basic but breakfast is included (delicious fresh bread, cereal, milk, juice) making it quite a good deal overall. Frederic can pick you up but it's 1500-1800 per person. If you arrive during the day, it will be cheaper to just get a bus (250 per person). Ask at the airport or the Papeete Tourism Office where to get the bus from towards Te Miti pension. If you tell the bus driver where you need to go, s/he will stop at the right place. Kia | 4
