Photographer going to Yap...

I'm a freelance photographer and I'm putting together a story on the islanders of Micronesia. From my research, it sounds like Yap has the most traditional people and village life. I fly into Manila next week and I'm trying to find the easiest way of getting out to these islands. Any suggestions? What is the cost? What about timing? How do I arrange a stay in a local home? Any suggestions on people, places, things that you'd find interesting in a magazine article about the disappearing culture would be appreciated. Thanks.
