plane tickets

hi all
i'm looking for cheap plane tickets from europe to french polynesia and am kind of lost in all the websites and the offers at hand ; anyone can help ?

Try starting with Air Tahiti Nui. Or, just call a travel agent to see what carriers serve Tahiti from where you are, or can easily get to (Paris, London, etc.)

Air New Zealand is often the cheapest - check their websites for the various EU countries, as they advertise different fares for different countries.

But of course no flights from Europe to FP (or anywhere in the South Pacific) will be really "cheap".

The airlines that fly to Tahiti from Europe are Air France, Air Tahiti Nui and Air New Zealand (actually a codeshare with ATN on the LAX-Papeete leg). With Air New Zealand you may be able to get a better fare if you book a ticket to Auckland and do a stopover in French Polynesia.

Check their Web sites (put different dates in their booking system and see what you get), sign up for their emails. Also try Orbitz, Expedia and Travelocity as I have seen cheaper ATN fares on occasion there.

Also, be sure to check the price of the flight from where you are to Paris or London seperately as well as in a package with the carrier to Tahiti.

I would also see if a better deal might be worked by getting a cheap flight to Los Angeles and flying to Tahiti from there.
