PNG + Solomon Islands

Hey!

I am flying to PNG this September.
I have some questions:

1) I am from the EU - can I get the visa on arrival?
2) Is it possible to reenter PNG? I would like to visit the Solomon Islands but I still need to fly back home from PNG.

(1) You get the visa on arrival only if you arrive by plane. I suggest you to subscribe to the mailing list of https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/papua-new-guinea because there have been cases in which PNG decided to temporarily suspend visa on arrival for short periods (last time in November). The mailing list of UK travel advice is very good and prompt

(2) It doesn't sound unreasonable, but I don't know the exact terms of visa on arrival. Have a look at this portal that has been recently launched by PNG https://www.ica.gov.pg/
