port moresby help! safe ccomodation

I arrive at 2PM on June 14th, and leave at 130 Pm on June 15th, ie all daylight hours etc.. but after reading all these threads about the danger , I'm concerned about finding somewhere safe to stay as a single woman. Is there anywhere that doesn't cost an absolute fortune, can be booked in advance, has an airport transfer and doesn't double as a brothel? Does anyone have anything good to say about magila? Help!!
