"Visit South Pacific Pass"

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

Hey folks,
Anyone used the Visit South Pacific Pass? What was your experience with it? Any thoughts? Any comments?
Cheers

It's hardly worth it - these days you can get cheaper OW flights between most islands than those offered by the pass. It is only worth using fr a few pricier routes like to Tahiti, I think.

Cheers for your answer,
As it happens if this trip does work out I'll be arriving into the region in Tahiti (coming from S. America via Easter Island). But as things take more shape I'll start comparing the prices with the OW flights.
Another question about air passes - Is the one for domestic flights in PNG worth it or again can there be better offers elsewhere?
Thanks again

If you fly into PNG with an Air Niugini flight , you can get a 50% tourist discount on their domestic flights - you will have to ask foir it!
Compare that with the price of their pass.
But fares within PNG tend to be high, so any discount should be worth getting.
