remote lodge or amazing location for filming

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

I am looking for a location where a television documentary series can be filmed. We are based in New Zealand but we are wanting to locate our participants somewhere else in the Pacific/Southern Asia region. There will be 40 of us ... the accommodations etc don't have to be flash but we need to be able to house 40 people. I am looking for somewhere interesting, unusual, different. If anyone has come across an interesting or remote place to stay please let me know.

Bensbach wildlife lodge is unique. South Coast PNG adjacent to Indonesian border. Not sure if it is open at present.

Expecting accommodation for 40 persons in a remote location is somewhat a paradoxial proposition and a 40 strong doco TV crew is even more bizzare. What are you filming, the next Survivor series?
Have a look at Tanna island for sheer "Wow" factor (Live volcano and authentic custom tribes),
or Espiriti Santo with its WWII relics. Both can cater to your requirements.

Anywhere but Aitutaki
...already ruined by reality-shows

Yes I know a couple such places but would never wish a TV crew on them.
