Sail Oahu to Austraia

Has anyone ever done this? What time of year is a good time to go? How long did it take? What was your route? Anyone want to do it? I sail and want to buy a boat here and sell it in Sydney.

It strikes me that these are not the sorts of questions an experienced and serious sailor would be posting on a site like LP. Sounds like you have a lot to learn, and you'd be better off making inquiries at local sailing clubs, or chatting with people at marinas.

Thanks OldPro...It strikes me that taht wasn't a helpful or positive post. Just returned to this after sailing and traveling for the last year. I sail a lot out here and ask a lot of questions, just thought I'd ask here as well. If you are actually an old pro, I'd appreciate something more than whatever your previous post was meant to be. Before I swallowed the hook 30 years ago a good source was the Dolphin Book Club. Get a copy of "Ocean Passages of the World" and spend some time with the charts. Also... talk to someone who has done it.
