Samoa & Fiji to Los Angeles

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

Still in the exploration phase but the idea of a new Los Angeles to Fiji flight connection with stopovers in both Samoas would really be attractive. Here is the news item:

American Samoa to Los Angeles flights planned for November

You will be in Honolulu too. The StarAdvertiser is an excellent place to find entertainment, dining and activities, You will be surprised how much is free.

Once you arrive in the Samoan Archipelago, this source will be of great help. Do the podcasts before you leave.

Non-stop jet service from LAX to PPG and APW... with just 2 jets? We'll believe it when we see it.

# Pago
Yes - but wouldn't it be nice ;-)

# Calumet
No, I will not be in Honolulu too. A direct flight from LA to Pago or Apia will hardly include time in Hawaii. And living in Apia for almost 15 years now I am familiar enough with the Samoan Archipelago, thanks.
BTW - did you ever read the TT rules on advertising?

Mind you, from the article it doesn't sound clear to me whether the proposed flights to Fiji would include Samoan stopovers or would be different flights altogether. Also, it sounds like different flights would serve each of the Samoas.

“Our goal is to have two flights a week, one through each of the Samoa’s in each direction, Los Angeles and onto Australia and two flights a week through Fiji, we have a pretty good situation in Fiji as well.”

Well, any additional flights to the region could only be welcome, but we'll really just have to wait and see...
