Samoa - need to pre book accomodation ?

Hi. We are flying to Apia and from there we plan to hire a jeep and drive the two main islands for about a week. Is it nessacarry to pre book a place to stay or is it easy enough to just turn up at one of the many Beach Fales.

It just seems like it will be a bit to much planning as we are aiming to get around alot of the country so just turning up somewhere in the evening would be convienent for us.

You have one week and you want to see both islands? Then a rental car will be the only reasonable option.

anyone know if there are motobike rentals out there ?

I do not know any. Motorbikes are not a really suitable way of transport here in Samoa and therefore very hard to find.
