staying in fiji, golf

hi all
i am planning to travel around the world at the end of the year and will be staying in fiji for around 10days or so, in Dec 2010, am pretty flexible as to what my plans are going to be there (well acutally thinking about it) dont really have any plans as such apart from would like a game of golf, play off single figures and would like to know if its possible to hire clubs etc, standard of gear, places to head for, as not dragging golf clubs around with me.Also any ideas for cool places to stay would be great, will be 39 not over the hill by any means, but kinda like to chill and see stuff now rather than partying all night every night if you know what i mean.

Fiji's best courses are on the main island Viti Levu - in fact all bar one (Vomo)
Id suggest staying on Denerau - 5 styar - Sheraton, Hilton, Westin,Radisson or Sofitel, or maybe even the Golf Terraces
That way you could play the course there - hire clubs etc
