Can you still take the VAEANU between Papeete and Bora Bora? What is deck travel situation? Is there any enclosed sitting area?

I have a flight reserved in February but I'm thinking that the weather will be too unpleasant. I don't mind some heavy downpours mixed with sun but I don't want to go all that distance for lot of 100%cloudy days. Could I count on decent weather by late April?
