Tahiti with kids

We are planning a family trip to French Polynesia, likely the Society Islands in the fall, 2013. At that time, we will have a 3.5 year old and a 6 mo. baby. Grandparents may be joining us, or another family. Does anyone have experience traveling with kids in Tahiti, etc? Also, we want to rent a condo or house, so any thoughts on that would be appreciated as well.

Try the Pacific Islands Branch as Tahiti has a sub branch there. And if its up and running, Travel with Kids.
