The actual time depends on where you are, how north or south within the south pacific you are, where the country is within the timezone it's in, don't know if daylight savings applies to anywhere in the Pacific but that would be a factor also. In French Polynesia (the Society Islands and the NE Tuamotu) it's roughly 6 and 6, I was reading a blog about New Caledonia and there the author mentioned sunrise at 4:30 and sunset at 7:30 in the summer.
