To Papua or East Timor

I'm coming from Europe..Should I book fligts to Bkk or Singapore first? Is cheap flights available from there?
Or should I go to Bali first....?

Well, Bangkok is a couple of thousand miles from PNG and East Timor, not sure why you would try to end up there. Maybe there are flights to PNG from there?? But Jakarta is a lot closer to both places. Or head to Brisbane or Cairns, Australia, maybe??

You should definitely go via Indonesia if you want to reach these places realtively cheaply.

From Bali you could fly to East Timor directly, or save quite a sum by going via Kupang in Indonesian West Timor.

PNG has direct flights from Singapore, but they are very expensive.
The cheapest way to gewt there is via Indonesia's West Papua.

Australia has good air links with both places, but that's an expensive way to reach them from Europe.
