tonga and samoa

I am off to Samoa on november 3rd for a week and then a week in Tonga if still feasible. Is it possible to travel to these places after the tsunami? I am staying in Apia in Samoa and somewhere near the main airport in Tonga.

Definitely good for you to go. The island affected in Tonga is separate from the main island, and only the southern shores in Samoa are affected. If you check the above thread, and another one referring to Samoa, you will see details of why it is important that tourists continue to visit these countries.

Yes - as (1) says - Apia was largely unaffected and is a great place to visit.
