About to leave to two months in PNG (mainly New Ireland) on Thursday and the last thing to organise is one nights accomodation in Port Moresby on the way through to Kundiawa and Mt Wilhelm.
Anyone got any budget favourites and their approximate price?? Bit lost for ideas at the moment and wondered if anyone had any places they recomend or places to avoid!!

| watsoff16:37 UTC31 Jul 2008 | I'm sure others have more specific suggestions however for what it's worth I stayed at Ambers Lodge in Boroko, which isn't very near the airport but it isn't overly expensive by PNG standards (well, it wasn't then). I don't know if it is still up and running. The first two hotels in this site seem to be quite near the airport:

I checked out the two new links for those hotels. Lets just say they're much more expensive than they used to be...
I'll check out that other one you suggested tho.
