Travelling overland or flying from Vanimo to Mt Hagen?

Hi,

Has anyone travelled overland between Vanimo or Wekak to Mt Hagen in PNG? If so, how long does it take? Do you know which airlines fly from Vanimo or Wekak to Mt Hagen - the national airline has no flights...

I did this 4 times - how long it took varied enormously, depending simply on how long I had to wait for transport.
