Travelling with young children to Cook Islands?

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

A new business, Cocotots, has just started here on Rarotonga, renting equipment for young kids. The following information is from an article in the Cook Islands News (local newspaper) this morning - I thought it may be useful for people intending to visit with littlies, as I know what a pain it can be lugging gear around airports...

Available equipment (weekly rates):
prams/buggies ($55 single, $60 double)
booster chairs ($20)
portacots ($35)
clip on highchairs ($10)
baby monitors ($15)
toy baskets ($15)
car seats ($30) and
backpacks ($30)

Information can be found at www.cocotots.com<BR>or they can be contacted on (682) 21430 or (682) 56986 or by emailing info@cocotots.com

Cocotots also supports a new babysitting service, Rarotonga Babysitting Service which can be contacted on (682) 29105

I hasten to add, I don't know the owners, or have any involvement with these businesses!
