Tropical Cyclone Mick

TC Mick hit the Yasawas yesterday and is continuing through Fiji. Octopus will have to close for 4 days to clear up damage, they lost all trees and had some buildings damaged, but people are OK. Further north on Nacula Blue Lagoon Beach Resort which was to open before Christmas is now having to put off their opening date until January as they clear damage. I imagine that most other resorts in the area are suffering in a similar way.

Thanks for that information Marilyn. I had not seen anything with regard to this cyclone on the news or internet. I do hope the damage was minimal and things are back to normal soon. I have so many fond memories of Octopus and am still hoping to return someday.
