Vanuatu... costs? To go or not to go?

Hello all;

I am going to be spending a month volunteering in Fiji and a month volunteering in Samoa this winter and then spending a month in NZ... I was wondering whether or not I should try to fit in a couple weeks in Vanuatu somewhere in there. Has anyone been to Vanuatu and Fiji or Vanuatu and Samoa? I was just wondering how it compares. I am going to be a little financially tight and it sounds as if Vanuatu is quite expensive but if the experience I will have there is worth the extra $$ im going to try to make it happen! I would appreciate any thoughts!

I've been to all three, and found Vanuatu the nicest, friendliest, most hospitable and most interesting by a VERY long shot! Also the most expensive, but budget options do exist.
If you can at all afford to go there, do - you won't regret!
