Viti Levu - one way motorbike/ scooter rental

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

Hi!
The plan is simple:
Nadi - (Queens Rd) - Suva - (Lomaiviti Islands) - Suva - (Kings Rd) Nadi.
Does anyone of you know if it is possible to rent a motorbike/ scooter one way? I will spend 5 days on Lomaiviti Islands and would not like to pay for that period. What is real price of a rental per day? Through the internet I have found only one company with a rate of $ 75 for a scooter.
Any help appreciated
Michal

Motorbikes and scooters are not a popular tourist option in Fiji, unlike in the Cooks and some other island groups. I was surprised you even found a rental to begin with.

i'm not sure how long your total trip is, but you might consider just taking the bus from Nadi to Suva on that first leg, then rent a car when you get back from Lomaiviti. You can still do both the Queens Rd and Kings road if you have a week or so left.

Thank you mate. If it's not popular, I will take a bus then - but it so much cooler to travel on your own pace...
Anyhow, thank you!
