| rowing11:20 UTC16 Jun 2009 | Hi!!!!!!! Does anyone know water’s temperature for swim in October to Tonga? I will need a “wetsuit” (not diving-suit but only “t-shirt wetsuit”) for snorkeling in that month??? And then, could anyone advise me a lovely beach for snorkeling in Tongatapu? (with sand beach and no danger tidal current)?? Thanks!

As for good snorkelling beaches on Tongatapu - I don't think so. The only good sand beach from memory is where the surfing tourists go. You need to get off Tongatapu for a good snorkelling beach.

Try this web site- current temps and they may have a way of looking at other times of the year.
