Weather in Tahiti and Bora Bora in November?

We are hoping to go to French Polynesia next November and early December, but don't want to go if there's probably going to be a lot of rain. Any thoughts from all of you with more experience? Is it just tropical downpours of short duration (mostly), or can it really ruin a vacation at that time? Thanks for your help.

On "rainy" days, it's usually short bursts of rain for up to an hour, then sunny for an hour or two, etc. etc. But most days it will be sunny more than that.
