where is the best seafood in the Pacific?

I'm an avid fish eater! I'm planning a trip to New Ireland and need seafood. Do the locals do a lot of fishing? I like raw, grilled and fresh fish, not fancy dishes. Please help!

Well it depends where you're staying doesn't it?

In general villagers all over the SP like smaller reef fish more than offshore species like Mackerel, Tuna or Marlin-something to do with the fat in the fish-at least that's what they tell me.

You are most likely to get it freshly grilled or fried if you are in villages.
