Where to stay in fiji---

Hi there,

i´m in new zealand now for 4 more days and after i will be flying to fiji just for 2/3 days and i was wondering wether i should just stay in nadi, since it´s close to the airport or i should move somethere else to find a better spot...i´m basically looking for a nice place to chill with nice beaches around, love the beach and can´t wait to get some sun after new zealand weather....looking forward to hearing from all you, thanks 4 ur help!

There are no nice beaches around Nadi, just mangrove and mud.
Head out to an island in the Mamanuca's.
They are all different and it depends on your budget which one you choose.

I agree with #1 - no nicce beaches near Nadi and also not at Denearau (10mins by cab- 5 star resorts, nice pools, but lousy beach).

Other choices could be the Coral Coast - 1 hour by road or an island in the southern Yasawas (by ferry or seaplane)
