Which island and accomodation in Yasawas

Hi !

My boyfriend and I are planning to stay 1 week in Fiji. We think of going to Yasawas.
There's a lot of choice regarding islands and accomodations so we're a bit lost ...

We are looking for something cheap but comfortable and clean. Also, an island where you can do some activites and not just lay on the beach all day.

Any recommendation would be much appreciated !!

There are cheaper, but what is 'cheap' to you?
Be sure to include the cost of meals in your comparisons. The food at Octopus is very good.

Octopus has the kind of prices that I'm looking for. We couldn't afford more than that.
I saw that the cheapest rate is 84 $US for a private bungalow. Are meals included ? It's not precised on the website.

I found also other resorts for cheaper like Nabula Lodge or Bay of Plenty. Do you know these ones ? Are they good ?

Last question. I couldn't find any information regarding the price for a one way to Yasawas. In Awesome Adventures website, only packages have a price.

have a look at hostelbookers for fiji, they have heaps of budget accom, and book when you get there, cos you get cheaper prices!

I am pretty sure that the Octopus prices exclude meals and the meal package is compulsory. There is no where else to eat there anyway. Send them an email.

We have not stayed in the other places you mention.

There was a price increase back in April, but before that a one way on the Yasawa Flyer to Oktopus was F$121, to the Blue Lagoon area it was F$138. Octopus also run their own boat which is cheaper, but the Flyer is a great trip as it calls in on all the islands along the way.

Meals at Octopus are around $65FJD per person per day , as I recall.
